Well, it was hot. Very hot.
Our sincere thanks to each and every attendee, sponsor and volunteer.
Many of you braved 100 degree weather to make sure the 2009 PurpleHull
Pea Festival & World Championship Rotary Tiller Race was a success.
Despite the heat, we were blessed with a new world record in the tiller
race, a new fun event (the Larry the Cable Guy Look-a-Like Contest) and
a wedding on the tiller track.
It was a very special festival.
If you were there this year, we hope you'll come back next year.
If you missed this year's event, please mark your calendars now.
Come to Emerson, Arkansas, population 359, next year and see the award-winning PurpleHull Pea Festival
for yourself June
25-26, 2010.
We're looking forward to seeing you there!
