The 2009 PurpleHull Pea Festival & World Championship Rotary Tiller Race will be June 26 &
27.
Please note a
few events will occur prior to
the weekend of the actual festival. Here's the schedule:
The First Annual PurpleHull
Pea Festival Golf Tournament

Haynesville Country Club, was
Saturday, May 30.
The Blessing of the PurpleHull Pea Crop was Sunday, June 7, at the
Billy Williams Farm, on County Road 5, about 5 miles west of Emerson.
The PurpleHull Pageant was Saturday, June
20.
The Kids
Fishing Derby was also June 20.
