The Barn Restaurant
now just a memory.

For years, if you wanted some great food, a place to purchase a "Pea-Shirt" and other festival souvenirs, there was a place in downtown Emerson that did it all.

The Barn restaurant at the corner of U.S. Hwy 79 and Arkansas Hwy 98 served up some great meals, and provided a great atmosphere.

Sadly, The Barn closed it's doors early in 2004.

For their outstanding help through the years, the PurpleHull Pea Festival would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to Don Baker and all the staff at The Barn.  We will certainly miss you.

They would always invite you to "come graze" with them.  And because we just can't bear to remove it, below is a copy of their last menu.

Down home cooking.  Hours are 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Wed. thru Sat. - and noon cafeteria style Sundays 11:00 to 1:30.  There's also a drive-thru for your convenience, but this is not fast food, so please call ahead.  Prices may change
due to the market..
